About My Work

I have spent the last 25 years as a law firm corporate partner specialising in M&A. My work involves advising a client base spanning serial entrepreneurs (in some cases from start up to exit) to listed companies. Along the way I have helped with fund raising (debt and equity), buying and selling companies and businesses, restructurings and generally providing strategic advice. Although all the work that I do is English law based, I act for a number of non-UK entities doing business in the UK.

Before I became a corporate partner I worked in property, litigation and employment which gives me a great background for spotting issues in due diligence and working with colleagues to find commercial solutions.

I was a board member of Hill Dickinson between 2011 and 2016.

I'm proud to be working with valued colleagues in the corporate team at Hill Dickinson, which is ranked in tier 1 by Legal 500.

My reputation is as a deal doer, proactively looking for solutions when issues arise to get transactions to a successful conclusion in a timely manner.

Current board positions include Vice Chair of Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and a member of the board of trustees of IVCC. Member of the board of trustees at Everton in the Community.
