Andrew has acquired a large client following, both locally and further afield, through recommendations and being accessible, thorough and willing ‘to go the extra mile’ – all with a sense of humour. He has acted for three generations of some families, has over 45 years of experience as well as the local knowledge of having spent his working life in Gloucester.

Andrew was born in Gloucester. Having qualified as a solicitor, he has spent his whole working career with the long established and respected Gloucester and Newent firm of solicitors, Madge Lloyd & Gibson, in which he was a partner until its merger with DF Legal LLP in 2021. Andrew has been a Governor and is still a Member of the Trustee body of a local Gloucester secondary school, is a Trustee of Gloucester United Schools Trust, a lifetime supporter and season ticket holder of Gloucester Rugby Club and a long-standing secretary of Down Hatherley Cricket Club.
