About My Work

Whilst studying I worked as a legal advisor for a large law firm. I provided advice on a variety of matters including consumer law, employment law, family law and personal injury law. I had a particular interest in personal injury litigation and I joined John Hodge Solicitors in 2014 as a personal injury legal assistant. I am now a solicitor in our personal injury department.

I specialise in personal injury claims. I have conducted a wide range of personal injury cases including claims for clients that have been injured in road traffic accidents as drivers, injured passengers, those who are injured pedestrians and for motor bike accidents. I have a special interest in claims where people are injured in scooter accidents. I have represented injured children, where a child has been injured in a road accident, play park, or suffered injury at soft play or at school or nursery.

I also specialise in accident claims where injuries are suffered at work on farms, ports, from accident in factories, building sites or construction sites, including where employees have been injured due to a fall from height, defective equipment, a lack of PPE and where work colleagues have made mistakes.

I am happy to meet with clients in any of our offices that is convenient to them. I am flexible with regards to contact with clients during their claim and can call, email, write or meet in person. I advise our clients in a concise way without the need for too much legal jargon.

I enjoy being able to help those that have been placed in a situation which is no fault of their own, to assist them through the claims process and reach a fair and justified outcome.

Some firms deal with vast caseloads, with no face to face meetings and often leaving you unsure as to whether the person dealing with your claim is a qualified lawyer. We treat you as an individual and ensure that your claim is handled appropriately, achieving the very best outcome for you.
