For Legal Pages Users

Are the legal service providers on your website ranked or recommended by Legal Pages?

No – we do not rank or recommend anybody in our directory as we are not qualified to do so. Our members will typically appear above non-members in search results, but this is based on membership level not any form of recommendation.

Can you advise me regarding who I should work with for my specific legal situation?

No – Sorry, we can not help you with this. We provide our users with a directory of experts to make the process of finding help easier, but we do not give advice or provide referrals/recommendations.

Can I rely on the accuracy of the information presented in your directory and your members' profiles?

No – Every effort is made to ensure the information presented is accurate, but much of the source information is not within Legal Pages control and therefore should not be completely relied upon as accurate. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions section for more information.

Is this an exhaustive list of legal experts in the UK?

No – There are currently over 100,000 people in our directory, this is a substantial number of entries, but it is by no means complete.

I can’t find a lawyer for the specific service or sector I require, can you help me?

Unfortunately, we are not able to advise you. If you are struggling with the search function or it is not showing a particular service you need, then it will typically mean we do not have a member that has highlighted their expertise in that specific area of law. We have over 100,000 legal experts listed in 16 Core Practices.

As Legal Pages expands its membership, we anticipate hundreds of niche practice areas being searchable, but it is a work in progress. Just because an expert hasn’t featured in the search result you wanted, it doesn’t necessarily mean there isn’t one in our directory, it just means they haven’t selected that area to highlight within their service offering, so they don’t show up in your search result.

Is it important that my lawyer is based local to me?

In certain cases it can be, especially if you want regular face-face meetings and are paying travel expenses. However, most work can be done online or over the phone, so the actual location your lawyer is working from is becoming increasingly irrelevant. Always check with the lawyer directly before making a decision.

Why am I able to use Legal Pages for free and without providing you with any of my personal details?

Our business model means that we do not rely on users paying for the service nor do we need to collate your personal information.

Why am I only just hearing about Legal Pages?

We launched in December 2024. We identified a major flaw in the way law firms and lawyers are represented in most search engines and various other websites. We believe Legal Pages provides a more efficient service in helping people find the most appropriate expert for their specific situation and in turn enabling legal experts to showcase their services in a logical and easy to understand format.

Do you retain any personal information about me?

No - we do not ask you to provide any information in order to use Legal Pages, it is not required, we have a cookie policy you can read if you wish.

Legal Pages really helped me, how do I show my gratitude, can I make a donation?

No thank you. We just ask that you tell the person you worked with about Legal Pages. Also tell friends/family/colleagues about the service if you think it might help them with their situation. The more people that use Legal Pages, the better service we can offer to our users and members.
